TikTok Creator Rewards: Eligibility Checklist + Earnings Estimator

Do you qualify, and what would it pay? An eight-step checklist and a calculator with the formula shown.

Quick answer

To join TikTok Creator Rewards you need 10,000 followers, 100,000 views in the last 30 days, to be 18+, on a personal account, posting videos over 1 minute, in an eligible country (not the Czech Republic). Reported pay is $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, with a $50 payout minimum.

Two questions decide whether Creator Rewards is worth your time: do you qualify, and what will it pay? Below you get an eight-step checklist for the first and a calculator for the second. For the basics of how per-view pay works, start with our broader guide on all the ways to make money on TikTok; this page is about your own numbers.

The 8-step eligibility checklist

These come from TikTok's Creator Rewards Program terms (page dated 20 July 2026). Go through them in order; one "no" is enough to stop.

  1. You are 18+ (or the age of majority where you live).
  2. Personal account, not Business. TikTok's terms exclude non-personal accounts, plus government bodies, politicians and political parties.
  3. 10,000 authentic followers.
  4. 100,000 authentic video views in the last 30 days before you apply.
  5. Videos of at least 1 minute, posted publicly. Shorter clips don't earn.
  6. Original content, and an account in good standing. Views that are artificially produced, paid or incentivized are excluded from rewards.
  7. A linked payment account in your own name, with tax details completed. Payouts start at a $50.00 balance and are paid on the 15th of the month via PayPal/Hyperwallet.
  8. You live in an eligible country. Soundstripe (2026) lists the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Japan. The Czech Republic is not eligible, so Czech creators can't join, whatever their numbers.

What counts as a qualified view

You are not paid on the number under the video. Influencer Marketing Hub says only views that come from the For You feed, last longer than 5 seconds, and are on videos of at least one minute count, with repeat plays and profile traffic left out. Soundstripe estimates roughly 50% of public views qualify. Use 50% as your default until you see your own dashboard figures. How the feed picks videos is covered in the For You Page explained.

The earnings estimator

Formula: payout = views × qualified share ÷ 1,000 × RPM. RPM is revenue per 1,000 qualified views. Influencer Marketing Hub (updated 1 October 2026) and Soundstripe both put it at $0.40 to $1.00, with the US and UK at the higher end.

This is an estimate, not a promise. TikTok does not publish a fixed rate; RPM moves with watch time, search performance, audience location and advertiser demand, and the 0.40 to 1.00 range is what the cited articles report.

Worked examples

Monthly viewsQualified (50%)Low ($0.40)High ($1.00)
100,00050,000$20.00$50.00
200,000100,000$40.00$100.00
1,000,000500,000$200.00$500.00
5,000,0002,500,000$1,000.00$2,500.00

The 100,000-view row matches Soundstripe's milestone table. Note the catch: at exactly the entry threshold you earn $20 to $50, so the first payout can take a month or two to reach the $50 minimum.

Available in the EU / Czech Republic?

Partly. Germany, France, Italy and Spain are on Soundstripe's eligible list; the Czech Republic is not. If you're in Prague or Brno, check the program in your TikTok app's creator tools before planning around it, and don't count it in your income plan until it shows up. Brand deals and affiliate links work regardless of country, see affiliate links on Instagram and TikTok.
